General Election on August 5

Sri Lanka's Parliamentary elections will be held on the 5th of August 2020, the Election Commission announced on Wednesday (June 10).

The Chairman of the Election Commision Mahinda Deshapriya said that the date had been unanimously decided by the members of the National Election Commission.
