Focus on weather today

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur at other places during the evening or night.

 

Heavy showers of more than 75 mm are expected in Uva, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Central, North-Western and Eastern Provinces.

 

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
