Mahinda Amaraweera says that the parties that are not in the current parliament will join the UPFA by November

All parties that are not currently represented in Parliament will join the United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) by November 11, UPFA General Secretary and Environment Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said.

The Minister stated that steps will be taken to make the UPFA a strong political force by bringing all the parties together and the political groups that do or do not make representation in Parliament proceedings.

"The biggest party representing the UPFA is the SLFP. We are working tirelessly to make UPFA the strongest political force in our country.

We are planning to carry out the organizational activities of the UPFA without any shortcomings and will also strengthen the main party of our alliance, the SLFP.

We do not reject any political force that rallies around the UPFA, "he said. "We do not have the intention of sabotaging the current government's journey.
