Showers or thundershowers at times in the Northern Province and in the Anuradhapura and Hambantota districts.

Occasional strong winds (40-50 km / hr) can be expected in the western slopes of the central hills, northern, north-central and northwestern provinces and in the Hambantota district.

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
