Focus on weather today

In the next few days, there will be turbulence in the lower atmosphere near Sri Lanka.

 

Heavy showers of more than 100 mm are expected in the Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces and in the Western and Southern Provinces during the morning.

 

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
