Heavy showers in excess of 50 mm are possible in the Galle, Matara districts and in some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North Western provinces.

Showers or thundershowers during the evening or night in the Uva, Batticaloa and Ampara districts.

Winds will be 40-50 kmph in the Hambantota and Trincomalee districts and in the western slopes of the central hills, North, North Central and North Western provinces.
