Fifth seismic station in the Western Province

Preliminary arrangements have been made to set up an earthquake epicenter in and around Sri Lanka in the Western Province.

It is the fifth seismic center to be set up in the country.

Environment Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said that a large sum of money was being spent on the project and that the necessary steps had already been taken.
