Every person is at risk of contracting Covid

Director General of Government Information Mohan Samaranayake announced that with the rapid spread of the Covid Delta variety in Sri Lanka, every person in the country is at risk of becoming a Covid patient.

Most of the Covid patients in the country have to be treated in the Intensive Care Units and 1.5% of the infected die. He urged the people to take action to protect themselves from the disease by acting in accordance with proper health guidelines.
