Edirisinghe family members arrested again by CID

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) re-arrested Jeewaka Edirisinghe, Anjalee Edirisinghe Asanka Edirisinghe & Nalaka Edirisinghe, the former directors of Swarnamahal Jewellers Pvt Ltd on the charges of Money Laundering.

 

The Attorney General’s Coordinating Officer said they had been arrested on the AG’s directions.

 

Earlier too the four Edirisinghe family members were taken to custody and released on bail.
