Dr. Arosha Fernando appointed CEO of the Third Aviation Activist

The Board of Directors of FlyLankan Asia Ltd., the third largest aviation operator in Sri Lanka, has unanimously selected Dr. Arosha Fernando, a world renowned expert on regulatory affairs and business development and a leading businessman.

 

Once certified as CEO, Fly Lankan Asia will be Sri Lanka's third scheduled international operator after national carrier SriLankan Airlines and FitsAir, primarily an international freight carrier, with domestic passenger services.

 

Dr. Fernando, the only Sri Lankan with the highest academic qualifications, has taken over as Fly's new CEO, having six university degrees in Australia - two degrees, three master's and a doctorate. LankanAs Ltd recently.
