Deduru oya sluice gates opened

The Assistant Director of Kurunegala DMC said that five sluice gates of Deduru oya have been opened by 3 feet each.

According to him 10,500 cubic water is released per second from all 5 gates. Therefore the people  who live in both sides of Deduru oya are better to be vigilant of possible adverse conditions, he stated further.
