Country is still at risk - Dr. Padma Gunaratne

Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Medical Association Dr. Padma Gunaratne said that the country is still in a precarious situation.

She further said that with the number of infected people found daily in the country, it can be estimated that there are more than 6,000 infected people in the society.

Ms. Padma Gunaratne said that the risk of covid in Sri Lanka has not decreased as the Delta variety has spread throughout the country.
