Children between the ages of 12 and 18 should be vaccinated - Prof. S. Rajindrajith

Prof. Shyaman Rajindrajith, President of the Sri Lanka Forum of Pediatricians, said that children between the ages of 12 and 18 should be vaccinated against covid.

He further said that priority should be given to children suffering from chronic diseases, chronic immunodeficiency diseases, organ transplants, neurological diseases and musculoskeletal diseases when giving covid vaccines.

He added that there was still not enough scientific evidence to decide whether to vaccinate children under 12 years of age.
