Channa Jayasumana says that the number of corruption scams in the NMRA has been revealed

Minister of State Prof. Channa Jayasumana said that a proposal has been made to make a number of structural changes to make the National Medicines Regulatory Authority a success.

 

A five-member committee comprising retired High Court Judge Kusala Sarojini Weerawardena was appointed and the interim report of the committee was handed over to the Minister of State recently.

 

Commenting on the interim report, the Minister of State said that it revealed several corruption scandals in the National Medicines Regulatory Authority.
