Cardinal to seek international probe if law not enforced over Easter attacks

Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith stated that he is ready to reach an alternative decision if  law is not properly enforced over the Easter Sunday terror attacks in 2019.

 

He stated that he was unahppy with the investigations conducted by the Criminal Investigations Department so far into the Easter Sunday Attacks which claimed the lives of over 260 individuals.

 

The Cardinal warned that if the investigations are not conducted properly to provide justice, then measures will be taken to seek International Criminal Court (ICC) probe.
