Cabinet Approval to abolish the 19th Amendment to the Constitution granted

The Cabinet of Ministers granted approval to abolish the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, on August 19 (Today).

 

Furthermore, approval was granted to draft the 20th Amendment to the Constitution.

 

The inaugural Cabinet meeting of the new government took place today (August 19) ,under the auspices of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
