COVID-19 case count stands at 2,686 : 12 fresh cases identified on July 16

The total number of COVID-19 infections confirmed so far in Sri Lanka has surged to 2,686.

 

As per the Department of Government Information, 12 fresh cases of novel coronavirus have been identified so far today (July 16).

 

The Epidemiology Unit has confirmed that 668 COVID-19 patients are being treated at several  hospitals across Sri Lanka . 

 

The total number of recoveries in the country stands at  at 2,007.
