CBSL only responsible for deposits below Rs. 600,000 - Minister Bandula Gunawardena

Minister Bandula Gunawardena says that the Central Bank of Sri Lanka will be responsible for up to Rs.600,000 deposited in financial institutions supervised by the bank.

He added that the govenment is taking immediate action to resolve the issues encountered by 93% of depositors.
