Beds full in Western Province

The corona control measures have faced a serious challenge as bed capacity in all hospitals designated to treat COVID-19 patients in the Western Province has reached full capacity.

 

According to   Western Province Health Department Secretary Gamini Dharmasena :

 

“We will have to find space at hospitals when only patients are discharged,” There has been a case from the western province where a person has succumbed to Covid  on Wednesday as there was no space at hospitals.
