Bangladeshi man arrested for operating a drone near the Temple of the Tooth

A Bangladeshi national has been arrested by the Dalada Maligawa Police yesterday for activating a drone camera and taking video footage of the Sri Dalada Maligawa area in Kandy.

Police seized a camera, a mobile phone, a drone camera and the suspect's passport.

The suspect had said that he had obtained the relevant footage for a YouTube channel he was running.
