Sajith says the future SJB government will protect farmers and their rights

Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa said a future SJB government would legislate to protect farmers and their rights.

 

Mr. Premadasa further said that the future SJB government will be in the form of a legal charter which will be approved by the Parliament.

 

He added that the rights of farmers would also be included in the list of human rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
