Another 100,000 doses of Pfizer inject into the island today

Another 100,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine purchased by Sri Lanka arrived in the island this morning.
The vaccine weighed 54,903 kilograms and was packed in 16 boxes of dry ice and taken to the Katunayake Airport by a Qatar Airways flight.
The consignment will be stored in the refrigerator luggage compartment at the Katunayake Airport and transported to the Central Pharmacy Complex of the Sri Lanka Pharmaceuticals Corporation in Colombo.
