An infant dies of Covid-19

An 8 days old infant born in Gampola Base Hospital has been died due to Covid 19.

The baby was born on 25th of May and has left the hospital on 27th. She had suffered by fever and also vomited in the house and brought back to the hospital.

 

She has been tested positive of Covid there and died.

 

But unfortunately none of her parents have done the PCR test yet.
