Actress Upeksha Swarnamali arrested

Former Member of Parliament and veteran actress Upeksha Swarnamali has been arrested by the police.

Ms. Swarnamali was arrested by the Katugastota Police last night in connection with an accident.

She is due to be produced before court today and the Katugastota Police are conducting further investigations.
