A new project at Nothrhen Sea to create an artificial biodiversity

A new project had been launched by the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources development in Northern Sea area to create a new artifical biodiversity region. In order to accomplish this, they have immersed four old busses into the sea around Delf Island at Northern Sea.

The project team hope to immerse 20 old busses in the region to make artificial sub layers of a new biodiversity. Develop more fish varieties around the region is the key expectation of the project. Sri Lanka Navy Nothrhen Command is supporting for the project.
