20 youths arrested for using drugs at a Facebook party

The police has raided a a Facebook party in Milaniya, Panadura on August 8 and arrested 20 youths over the use of narcotic drugs.

 

Among the arrestees are 15 males and 5 females .

 

Reportedly, they had been using heroin, Kerala Cannabis and other narcotic pills at the party.

 

The police also stated that a  17-yeard-old pregnant girl and a disabled person had attended the event.

 

The above individuals were charged an entry fee of Rs 5,000 for the party.

 

The arrested suspects will be produced before the Horana Magistrate.
