12 treasure hunters nabbed in Mihintale

Mihintale Police have arrested 12 persons for excavating at the Rajagiri Cave Archaeological site in the Mihintale Police Division.

Police have also seized equipment used by the suspects for excavations and the excavations were carried out with the intention of searching for antiquities.
