An unpublished novel to be released by García Márquez in 2024

Commemorating the tenth anniversary of the death of the Colombian novelist who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982, an unpublished novel by Gabriel García Márquez will be released on the market in 2024. The publishing house “Random House” announced this.

According to the publisher, the new book by the author of “One Hundred Years of Solitude” and “Love in the Time of Cholera” will be available next year in the markets of various Spanish-speaking countries except Mexico. The publication will be the best literary event of the year 2024. The writer and journalist, Gabriel García Márquez was born on March 6, 1927, in the northern Colombian city of Aracataca. He has a large number of short stories and novels and according to the Serpentes Institute, García Márquez is the most translated Spanish novelist. His works have been translated since the dawn of the 21st century.
