Picasso's 50th anniversary excites the globe

The 8th of April precisely, and 2023 celebrate the 50th anniversary of the death of Pablo Picasso. Commemorating his work and legacy, an outstanding combination of events and programs is stimulating the discussions about his works of art, his influence, similarly the life journey of the painter.

 

Pablo Ruiz Picasso, who was born in Malaga, Spain was renowned as an iconic artist in European modern art and died in Mougins, France. Paintings, prints, ceramics, sculptures and more complement the repertoire of this unique artist. The Spanish and French governments host the programme, "The Picasso Celebration - 1973-2023." From Europe to North America, and in Brazil, many functions, events, and exhibitions around 50 have been organized to take place in different museums globally.
