SL Army plants 100,000 saplings in the East in a day

The Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-East) of Sri Lanka Army planted 100,000 saplings of rare indigenous species in the Eastern Province within a single day.
As per the sources the Forest Department allocated state-owned forest areas for the above campaign and provided 100,000 indigenous saplings that included species such as Teek, Margosa, Mee, Mahogany, Kumbuk and Tamarind.
