Harin & Manusha sacked from the SJB

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Working Committee has decided to expel Harin Fernando and Manusha Nanayakkara from the party on this day (18). 

 

 

The decision comes as they both went against the party's policy by accepting Ministerial portfolios in the government, despite the party's previous stance of supporting the government to address the ongoing crisis without taking Cabinet positions. 

 

 

Harin Fernando is the Minister of Tourism and Lands, and Manusha Nanayakkara is the Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment.
