Woman drowns, her husband missing in Victoria Reservoir

A woman who was bathing in the Victoria Reservoir at Kumbukkadura in Theldeniya drowned and her husband is missing, police said.

 

They said the woman is 22-year-old, and her husband who is missing is a 28 -year old resident of Tihariya.

 

Police and local residents have launched an operation to find the missing person.

 

Theldeniya police are conducting further investigations.
