Two senior citizens hacked to death in Ahangama

A couple, aged 63 and 67, were brutally hacked to death at their home in Welhengoda, Ahangama this morning, police said.

 

The bodies were discovered following a tip-off, and both victims were found with their throats slit. 

 

The deceased have been identified as residents of Welhengoda.

 

Police have yet to reveal the motive behind the murder, and investigations are underway to identify and apprehend the suspects.
