Keheliya further remanded

Former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella who was arrested over the import of substandard Immunoglobulin injections, was further remanded until August 22 by the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court.

 

The former Health Minister was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on February 24, 2024.

 

Meanwhile, the court granted bail to former Health Secretary Janaka Chandraguptha and former Additional Health Secretary who were in remand custody in connection with the import of substandard Immunoglobulin injections
