Showers or thundershowers in several areas

During the afternoon or night showers or thunderstorms are likely expected in several areas in country.

 

At some places, fairly heavy showers above 50mm are likely to occur.

 

In the sea areas, from Mannar to Matara via Puttalam, Colombo and Galle, as well as from Pottuvil to Trincomalee via Batticaloa off the coast there can be showers or thunder showers. 

 

During thundershowers, general public is kindly requested to take necessary precautions for safety.
