32-year-old killed in shooting at Meegoda

 A 32-year-old man was killed in a shooting incident at Nagahawatta, Meegoda, last night. 

 

According to the police, the shooting occurred while the victim was driving from his brother's home to his own residence in Meegoda. 

 

The car was stopped by an unidentified individual and another person had opened fire. The victim’s wife and one-and-a-half-year-old daughter were also in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

 

The victim, who sustained serious injuries, was rushed to the Homagama Hospital, where he later died. 

 

The assailants have not yet been identified, and the Meegoda Police are continuing their investigations.
