President of three-wheeler association injured in shooting

A man was injured in a shooting by two unidentified individuals who arrived on a motorcycle at Ahungalla early yesterday morning.

 

Police said the victim was shot while at the three-wheeler park and was subsequently admitted to Balapitiya Hospital.

 

The injured individual has been identified as the President of the Anungalle Three-Wheeler Association and a resident of Bogahapitiya.

 

Ahungalla Police are investigating the incident to arrest the suspects.
