Electricity Reforms Bill presented to Parliament

The Sri Lanka Electricity Bill, which includes proposed electricity sector reforms was presented to Parliament by Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara a short while ago.

 

The Bill provides for greater participation of the private sector in the power sector. 

 

Minister Wijesekera assured that he is willing to discuss the Bill with all MPs in Parliament.
