Eleven injured after bus topples in Wellawaya

At least eleven passengers were injured when a bus veered off the road and toppled in Wellawaya junction last morning. 

 

The injured, including five school children and the driver were admitted to Wellawaya base hospital.

 

Investigations revealed that the driver lost control of the bus due to a sudden illness while at the wheel.

 

OIC Traffic Branch of Wellawaya Police U.G. Chandrakkara is conducting further investigations.
