Singer Amitha Wedisinghe passes away

Veteran singer Amitha Wedisinghe, a senior artiste who also served as a music teacher, passed away yesterday morning. 

 

She is remembered for her evergreen hit songs, including those sung nearly 50 years ago.

 

Meanwile, some of her most popular songs include "Anothaththa Wila," "Beddapura Sudu Redda Wage," "Adara Charika," and "Senkadagalapura."
