Five arrested at BIA as attempt to smuggle out gold foiled

According to the Sri Lanka Customs, five people, including an Indian national, were arrested for trying to illegally transport a consignment of gold to Mumbai.

The suspects were arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) along with 10.5 kg of gold.
