SJB to hold two May Day rallies

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is to hold two May Day rallies this year, with one rally to be held in Colombo and the other in Nuwara Eliya.

 

SJB National Organizer Tissa Attanayake said the main rally will be held at Chatham’s Street Colombo and the other in Nuwara Eliya.

 

“The rally in Nuwara Eliya is to be organized by the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) but the SJB leader will participate in both rallies,” Attanayake said.

 

He said the SJB May Day procession is to begin from Gunasinhapura by 1 pm.
