The price of dairy products will not be slashed

The prices of local dairy products will not be reduced, according to the local dairy producers.

 

Although the price of milk powder has been slashed the local dairy items have no direct bearing on the reasons that caused other food items’ prices to go lower. 

 

However, the chairman, Ariyasiri Withanage of the Local Milk Powder Producers’ Association said that they have already started to take steps to reduce the price of local milk powder.
