Pakistan's airport security foils heroin smuggling attempt by Sri Lankan national

Pakistan's Airport Security Force (ASF) apprehended a Sri Lankan national at Islamabad International Airport while trying to smuggle 10.294kg of heroin to Qatar. 

 

 

The drugs were concealed inside the suspect's luggage during a routine security check for a Doha-bound flight. The individual responsible for the narcotics was arrested and handed over to Pakistan's Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further legal action. 

 

 

The identity of the drug smuggler has not been disclosed.
