Sri Lanka javelin star eyes Olympic swansong

Sri Lanka’s Dilhani Lekamge will participate in the Women’s javelin throw qualification round of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in France tomorrow. 1.55pm.

 

The 37-year-old Hangzhou Asian Games Silver Medallist and International Medallist will also be competing in her last international meet before her retirement.

 

Dilhani is the Captain of the Sri Lanka Athletic Team and was the Women’s flag bearer at the Olympic Games opening ceremony.

 

Dilhani set a personal best performance and a new Sri Lanka mark of 61.57m at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
