Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera appointed Commander of Sri Lanka Navy

 

President Ranil Wickramasinghe on Sunday (18) promoted Rear Admiral Priyantha Perera to the rank of Vice Admiral and appointed him as the 25th Naval Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.

Prior to this appointment, he served as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy.

He was appointed as the Navy Commander after the retirement of the former Navy Commander Admiral Nishantha Ulugethenna.
