UNICEF Sri Lanka gets USD 500,000 from Japan for provision of nutritional care

 

UNICEF Sri Lanka says that it has received a contribution of 5 lakh dollars from the Japanese government to provide nutrition services for children and families affected by the current crisis.


In coordination with Sri Lanka's Ministry of Health and partners, the funds will be used to provide the necessary follow-up, including screening and counseling for malnutrition, to provide urgent care for children with essential micronutrients.
