UN envoy expresses concern over shooting in Rambukkana

UN Resident Coordinator in Sri Lanka Hannah Singer-Hamdy has expressed grave concern over the loss of life reported during a protest in Rambukkana yesterday (April 19).

In a Twitter message, the UN envoy stressed that violence by any party involved was an impediment to the rights of peaceful protesters.
