UK mother makes desperate plea for adopted Sri Lankan twins

A London mother in need of emergency cardiac treatment in the UK is fighting with the UK government over not allowing her adopted twins to travel with her from Sri Lanka.
Lisa Keerthichandra and her husband Dash Lavinia and Aria fell in love with their children when they were six months old and were adopted in 2019 at an orphanage in Sri Lanka.
The Enfield couple, who emigrated to Sri Lanka temporarily in 2013, had been told by UK passport officials that the children could not be brought back to the UK and that Ms. Keerthichandra should be treated there.
The family is now preparing an appeal through their lawyers in Sri Lanka.
