Torture of a girl by father and aunt

A 13-year-old girl has been released from a house in the Norochcholai area following a complaint lodged with the police.

The girl was tortured by her father and her father's sister and they were arrested.

The two suspects were remanded after being produced before court, said Senior DIG Police Spokesman Ajith Rohana.
